The Alexander Technique
with Andrew Monaghan
The Alexander Technique is a practical method of changing physical and mental patterns.
The method is educational - you are not just receiving treatment from a practitioner, you are also being taught a new skill: how to accurately register and understand the messages your body is constantly giving you. Looking more closely at our everyday experiences, often we can find out the cause of many problems, such as 'niggling pains', etc.Changing the small things in your everyday life has a profound cumulative effect.

With frequent lessons in the technique, you can gain more freedom of movement and energy, experience improved balance and co-ordination and reduce tension and mental stress. Some use the Alexander Technique to prevent problems later in life, while people with back pain, RSI and many other physical issues use it as a means to reduce the frequency and severity of these symptoms.
